Shaquille O’Neal and Wife Shaunie Rekindling Old Flames – Divorce Talks Off

The Big Aristotle, Shaq Diesel or just Shaquille… Mr. O’Neal and the Mrs. are officially reconciling and putting off the pending divorce.

Months after he filed for divorce, Shaquille O’Neal and his wife Shaunie are getting back together.

Shaq has been w/ his wife through pretty much his entire career and he has quite a few children w/ her as well – for him, divorce was a costly option (for a divorce settlement). Keeping the marriage together works out in his favor, at least as long as he can keep it together (err… in his pants).

O’Neal is currently a member of the Phoenix Suns, after being traded during the middle of last season. He has 2 yrs left on his contract ($20+ million per yr), so you might expect that the family will be moving into Shaq’s new luxury home in Arizona.

At this point, its really no secret that one of the big issues that led to the divorce filing was Shaq’s infidelity. Those kinds of actions don’t go away over night, so Shaunie must have forgiven him and/or really just doesn’t care (in the end). He’s the father of their kids and probably worth over $300 million, so there’s no reason to jump off the train so to speak.
