Pete Wentz is defending sister-in-law Jessica Simpson — who shocked fans at a weekend chili cook-off with a fuller figure.

Really, is it news when a (not popular anymore) band member (Wentz) comments on a pudgy Jessica Simpson? Not trying to bash Pete at all, but I don’t even hear Fall Out Boy on the radio anymore and really don’t care what he has to say about Jess’ weight. Is it really that big of a deal that we need everyone’s opinion on it?
