   When it comes to the Lindsay and Britney type of press…Here it is people…. they’re playing us…”the public”… like  puppets…There is not a person out there that could convince me that the publications whom are telling  and printing their stories  aren’t sending them a check, for doing “dumb” stuff…  there is a lot of  money being  made off these  whores…. and  there  is only one person to blame,  and  that  is  your conscience….the  next time  you see a little bit of Britney or want to take a  little peek at  Lindsay, turn your  eye, because its you, the  consumers that  are  adding fuel to the devils engine. It seems like just yesterday I was posting about Lindsay Lohan’s first DUI (actually, it was my last post - sorry folks).  The starlett who just got out of rehab 2 weeks ago, has again been busted for driving under the influence.  To top it off, she had cocaine in her pocket, which she claims in an email “isn’t hers” (ya, ok).

What’s happening to this poor (rich) young girl is simply a travesty.  Lohan has done so well up until the past few years and is just throwing her future straight into the trash.  It might seem fun now, but when she’s older and her money is gone, I seriously doubt she’ll look back and say she made the best choices.

Linsday Lohan needs help… serious help, not some stuck-up, posh rehab/resort where she can just fu** off everything.  She needs to go to jail, she needs to go to a real rehab center, and she needs the full support of all her friends and family.  She also needs to drop her little drug buddies, since they obviously don’t care about her (evidenced by helping her habit).

Actress and boozer Linsday Lohan just can’t seem to keep out of the headlines for her drug & alcohol escapades. The last incident involved Linsday running her Mercedes into the curb on Sunset Boulevard on Saturday. There were two other passengers in the vehicle, but they weren’t hurt in the small accident.

Officers received a 911 call about the accident and arrested Lohan at the hospital for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, McCann said.

Police Found Cocaine in Lohan’s Vehicle

Not only was Lohan speeding when the accident happened and likely drunk, but the cops also found a small amount of a white substance in the car (appears to be cocaine).

Officers at the scene found a “usable amount” of a drug tentatively identified as cocaine, McCann said. He declined to say where the drug was found other than to say Lohan was not carrying it.

Back in January, Lindsay Lohan had checked into rehab… Guess it didn’t work.

The whole thing is just a shame… rich girl, drugs, and a wasted life.

Tony La Russa was busted Thursday morning when cops found him asleep in his SUV at a green light in Florida. Cops watched while the SUV stayed put through two green lights & their initial attempts to get his attention failed. La Russa was arrested for drunken driving, w/ a blood alcohol content over Florida’s legal limit.

He was arrested and booked at the Palm Beach County jail on the misdemeanor, according to police and jail records. He was released about 8:30 a.m. after posting $500 cash bond, said Paul Miller, a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office spokesman. 

Wow, my wildest dreams have come true… seriously though, I don’t like this guy one bit.  He’s arrogant and a jerk. Luckily he didn’t hurt or injure anyone while he was driving.

La Russa is a four-time manager of the year and led the St. Louis Cardinals to the World Series championship last season. He also won the title in 1989 with the Oakland Athletics and has won three other pennants. His 2,297 wins over 28 seasons with the Chicago White Sox, A’s and Cardinals is third all-time.

In a strange twist of events (yes, another one), Britney Spears has reportedly left the rehab facility that she just entered on Tuesday.  Family intervention seems to be Britney’s motivation for checking into the rehab facility just yesterday, but it’s evidently not enough to keep her there.  Spears left less than 24 hrs after checking in.  This is the 2nd time in the past few weeks that Britney has entered rehab and left on her own - both within 1 day of entering.

The television news magazine “The Insider” initially reported that Spears called a car service, walked out of the Promises Malibu Treatment Center and left the facility early Wednesday morning.

Later, the TV show “Extra” and the celebrity Web site TMZ.com said the 25-year-old pop star had left the center far short of the usual 45-day stay. TMZ said she couldn’t handle rehab and went home.

Of course all of this comes on the heals of Britney’s wild weekend where she shaved her head & got new tattoos.  I know a few people that have had to go to rehab for one reason or another, but haven’t ever seen anything like this…

There  are victims of this tragedy by the way… Britney’s kids.  Let’s hope someone is watching over them a little smarter than Britney.

In a shocking twist of events, former pop-star Britney Spears shaved her head and is now completely bald.

It seems that Britney is sick of the media attention surrounding her and going bald basically helps her say “fu** you” to the press and media; I’m not sure you can blame her for wanting to stop all the rumors.

What it really does, is adds to the ongoing lunacy and insane behavior that Britney has displayed since her breakup w/ K-Fed.

A bystander interviewed by L.A.’s KABC-TV, which filmed Spears heading into Body & Soul Tattoo on Ventura Boulevard, said that the pop star had shaved her head because “she didn’t want people touching her anymore.”

In an even stranger twist, it seems that Britney cut her locks off herself, shaving her head bald in a tattoo parlor. Spears was in the tattoo shop to get two more tattoos; one on her hip and another on her wrist.

There are reports that Britney entered a rehab facility this week and left just a day later. Of course, Spears people deny it, while other sources say it did happen.

News of Spears’ head-shaving, tattoo-inking antics came amid intense speculation earlier Friday that the increasingly pooped-looking “Toxic” singer was in rehab. But there was no confirmation from her camp, only conflicting reports that Spears was already out of rehab.

According to Extra, which first advanced the rehab story, Spears checked into an unidentified treatment facility about two days ago.

Later, both TMZ and People reported that while had Spears checked into a treatment facility, she’d checked out a day later.

Britney’s family is reportedly very concerned about her behavior and is thinking intervention… it seems clear that she’s on some kind of drugs that are affecting her ability to function normally. The former Mickey Mouse Club member no longer resembles the cute & talented girl we’ve all come to know her as.

I think the only thing Britney Spears has left to do is pose for Playboy and she’ll have done about everything possible to ruin her career.

Less than 1 year after giving birth to her daughter and losing her son Daniel, Anna Nicole Smith has died. Anna is best known for her appearance in Playboy magazine, as well as her marriage to billionaire J. Howard Marshall, and ongoing custody battle w/ her new baby. Her husband Howard K. Stern claims to be the father, but Larry Birkhead is also claiming to be the father.

Anna Nicole Smith’s death at 39 yrs old comes as a great shock, similar to the way her idol Marilyn Monroe died @ 36 yrs. old. Both stars had troubled pasts, but became big celebrities, as well as sex symbols.

Anna’s continuing drug use (prescription or not) has likely contributed to her death, though no one will know until an autopsy is performed. Her sudden death only adds to the controversy and news surrounding the well-endowed blonde. Smith was sued this week, along w/ the company TrimSpa, for allegedly misleading customers about the diet product.  This latest news comes on top of the “baby’s daddy” issue and the death of her son about a year ago; Daniel’s death was also a mystery, though it’s belived that a combination of prescription drugs were responsible.

In the latest twist of Britney Spear’s ongoing drama (her life), her new boyfriend (now ex) apparently broke up with her over the phone.  Her beau of only 1-2 months, Isaac Cohen, reportedly had enough of the “father” role while with Spears and wasn’t in the mood to continue the relationship, which from his perspective should’ve been over awhile ago.

This whole relationship stinks of a publicity stunt for Cohen, who apparently doesn’t know what a 4-yr old is like, or an infant…. and that’s just when describing Britney… what about her kids?

Seriously though, did he think that by dating a mother of two children that he’d somehow not have to be a Dad in some way, shape or form?  Hip-hopping around the country w/ Britney’s money does sound like fun, but duh!, she has 2 kids w/ your look-a-like (K-Fed) and has been caught how many times without panties/underwear?

J.K Rowling’s latest Harry Potter book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)“, has been selling like hotcakes, even though the book has not officially been released yet.

Rowling from sites like Amazon.com and others who have put the book up for pre-sales.� Although Deathly Hallows�isn’t scheduled to be released until July 21, 2007, fans of the popular Harry Potter book series are already scooping it up in mass numbers.

Rowling announced Thursday that “Deathly Hallows” would come out July 21. The previous six books have sold more than 325 million copies in 64 languages and broken countless sales records. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” published in 2005, had an announced first U.S. printing of 10.8 million copies and sold 6.9 million copies in its first 24 hours.

The new Harry Potter book is available in two varieties - Hardcover edition and Deluxe hardcover edition.� There will likely be some additional features & bonuses in the deluxe edition of the book.

Donald Trump’s ex-wife, Ivana Trump, is claiming that the feud between Donald and Rosie O’Donnell is nothing more than a publicity stunt.�

The whole thing is a he-said, she-said war of words, w/ Barbara Walters even getting involved at one point.� Trump was on the Adam Carolla show telling how Walters flat out lied about a conversation she had w/ “the Donald”.

From the bits & pieces of the story that I’ve heard and the amount of finger pointing going on (nothing serious), it definitely looks like Ivana could have a point.

Rosie & Donald feud history:

The fight between Trump, 60, and the 44-year-old O’Donnell, moderator of ABC’s “The View,” broke out last month after Trump announced that Miss USA Tara Conner would keep her title, which had been in jeopardy because of underage drinking. He owns the pageant.

O’Donnell said the twice-divorced real-estate mogul had no right to be “the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America.” Trump fired back in various interviews, calling O’Donnell a “loser” and a “degenerate.”

Did he or didn’t he? He did, he didn’t…. Ok, so we now know that Isaiah Washington really did utter a gay slur (”faggot”) regarding fellow actor T.R. Knight on the set of Grey’s Anatomy.

Washington is now in therapy and receiving treatment to help him understand why he made the remarks and how he can overcome it…. How about helping him quit lying?? That would probably help!

Castmates and producers of the show are having mixed reactions; some are supporting Isaiah’s efforts to right the wrong - others are still very upset that it happened in the first place.

Ok, so I took a break from writing for about a week, but it’s hard keeping up w/ all the celebrity and entertainment news… try it and see. It’s one thing to read about it and/or watch it on TV, but it’s another to write up an article on an event or talk about the latest gossip.

What did I miss the past week or so?

• Golden Globe Awards - The awards have come & gone, with Babel, The Queen, Dreamgirls and Ugly Betty taking home multiple awards. I watched a bit of the awards, but mostly the red carpet and after-awards shows. Everything went off without a hitch for the most part… the biggest drama being the tension between Justin and Cameron. • American Idol - The show everyone is watching is back again… Honestly, I watched about 30 minutes of the season premiere and had to turn it off. I don’t know what it is, but it doesn’t appeal to me anymore. The biggest story about American Idol right now is Paula Abdul and her ridiculous behavior. Reports are swirling that “Sexyback” star Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Cameron Diaz have split up.� So what gives?

The two reportedly spent the Christmas holidays apart from each other - Justin in Tennessee and Cameron in Colorado.� Their plans were to go to Tennessee together, so something happened to change that.� Diaz was also missing from the premiere of Justin’s movie, Alpha Dog, which is kind of strange.� In addition, the couple were last spotted together clear back in mid-December.

Out partying at clubs, Justin has been quoted as saying “me and Cameron, we’re done” and other definitive statements that would seem to indicate that they are through.� There’s no other news coming out of the pair, and both were adament on the Ellen Degeneres show that they’re not ready to get married or commit further.

With Justin’s recent disclosure about his drug use and Cameron’s (just look at pictures of her), it seems that this odd relationship may have reached the end.

Reports have surfaced that Britney Spear’s ex, Kevin Federline, has been hitting on her gal-pal Lindsay Lohan.

Both Lindsay and K-Fed have a great personal history, and Kevin is always out looking for his next pot of gold, but the funny aspect of the story is that Lindsay was reportedly “grossed out” by K-Fed’s attempts to hit on her.

K-Fed supposedly sent Lohan a text message asking if they could hang out - Lohan’s response was less than friendly, so Kevin fired back w/ “firecrotch” - a phrase made popular by one of Paris Hilton’s ex-boyfriends.

I think it’s safe to say that these two won’t be seen together much…

No, Oprah doesn’t have AIDS…

Oprah Winfrey was tested for HIV Saturday in an attempt to encourage people in South Africa to get tested. Oprah, still in South Africa promoting her new all-girls school, wants to show a good example for the young girls attending her school. Getting tested for AIDS is critical for the people in Africa due to the widespread infection rate.

Oprah’s HIV test results will be held confidential - what? - as will the results of the girls at the school. Ok, so getting tested is showing an example, but hiding the results is too? I don’t think so.

Here’s what Oprah had to say about the HIV testing:

“To be a great leader you must be of sound mind, body and spirit,” Winfrey said. “Part of leadership is having the courage to demonstrate true action. Today I have taken the test to demonstrate why it’s so important.”
