One side seems to be personal taste. What feels good, what works on their hand, and their own personal style. These celebs know what they want and what they like. They’re going to work that into everything they put on – but most certainly their engagement ring! They are not out to be a trendsetter, but they’re definitely going to use their resources to find something totally “them.”

Another side seems to be because they can. They have the money now, and by golly, they’re going to use it! This seems to fall into the “be noticed” category. There seems to be two minds in the bling category. One side says “this is my life, there’s no reason to make big statement.” The other says, “Ooooo! Shiny!” But let’s face it. When we hear that someone has gotten engaged, our eyes immediately turn to the fourth finger of the left hand. We want to see that expression of betrothal. That’s not a celebrity thing… That’s been going on since the advent of the betrothal ring tradition. Can we blame them when celebrities go big?

People.com is reporting that the two obtained a marriage license in Scarsdale, NY on Tuesday. The marriage license is reportedly only good for 60 days, so a wedding or run to Vegas must be in the works.

It’s truly amazing how quickly the news media can obtain private information from “moles” and “informants” that are employed throughout our great country. Everyone is out to make a buck and there’s no decency; it’s a shame that Jay-Z and Beyonce are not allowed to enjoy their private lives… privately.

Beyonce was just 15 yrs old when she met Smith. She met him at a sound track signing for his movie Men In Black in 1997.

Beyonce says that the actor had impressed her with his charming ways and she credits him for teaching her to always treat her fans respectfully.

She says that she was dazzled by his behavior and she does not care if she gets as famous as Smith was but she will always be like him.

Jennifer Aniston & Vince Vaugn Split – It’s official, the couple from “The Break-Up” are really breaking up now. It was hard enough to get these two to admit they were seeing each other (or engaged), so the fact that they’re announcing the break-up is nice timing. Let’s see if we can put two & two together… see each other before the movie premiers, ok that might generate some buzz, and then break up while the movie is fresh on DVD…hmm, sounds like a double PR move to me.
