The tragedy that unfolded over the past few weeks w/ Jennifer Hudson’s family is horrible.  The murder of her Mom, brother & nephew is just incomprehensible.  To think that a family member (boyfriend or whomever), could kill people over a simple dispute is nuts.  Sure, there is drama going on, but shooting people isn’t the answer in any case.

These types of events happen all the time in the United States, but because Hudson is a celebrity, everything is blown up 100x what it normally would… and I think that’s a good thing.  We need more people thinking about why this is happening, how to prevent it, etc.  By putting the issue front & center on the news all the time, perhaps we’ll get something done.
