The sentences that celebrities are getting these days for their crimes are ridiculous.  Lindsay Lohan gets 1 day for 2 DUI’s, cocaine possession & reckless driving.  Paris Hilton gets 45 days (23 served) for DUI & driving on suspended license.  Michael Vick’s sentence has yet to be determined, but the NFL has already suspended him indefinitely.

I know this probably isn’t the best it could be, but I thought it was kinda funny and hope you do too:

   When it comes to the Lindsay and Britney type of press…Here it is people…. they’re playing us…”the public”… like  puppets…There is not a person out there that could convince me that the publications whom are telling  and printing their stories  aren’t sending them a check, for doing “dumb” stuff…  there is a lot of  money being  made off these  whores…. and  there  is only one person to blame,  and  that  is  your conscience….the  next time  you see a little bit of Britney or want to take a  little peek at  Lindsay, turn your  eye, because its you, the  consumers that  are  adding fuel to the devils engine. Keep watching; keep paying your money/time (commercials) to the devil’s devise…The Time is Cumming…..

It seems like just yesterday I was posting about Lindsay Lohan’s first DUI (actually, it was my last post - sorry folks).  The starlett who just got out of rehab 2 weeks ago, has again been busted for driving under the influence.  To top it off, she had cocaine in her pocket, which she claims in an email “isn’t hers” (ya, ok).

What’s happening to this poor (rich) young girl is simply a travesty.  Lohan has done so well up until the past few years and is just throwing her future straight into the trash.  It might seem fun now, but when she’s older and her money is gone, I seriously doubt she’ll look back and say she made the best choices.

Linsday Lohan needs help… serious help, not some stuck-up, posh rehab/resort where she can just fu** off everything.  She needs to go to jail, she needs to go to a real rehab center, and she needs the full support of all her friends and family.  She also needs to drop her little drug buddies, since they obviously don’t care about her (evidenced by helping her habit).

Ok, so I took a break from writing for about a week, but it’s hard keeping up w/ all the celebrity and entertainment news… try it and see. It’s one thing to read about it and/or watch it on TV, but it’s another to write up an article on an event or talk about the latest gossip.

What did I miss the past week or so?

• Golden Globe Awards - The awards have come & gone, with Babel, The Queen, Dreamgirls and Ugly Betty taking home multiple awards. I watched a bit of the awards, but mostly the red carpet and after-awards shows. Everything went off without a hitch for the most part… the biggest drama being the tension between Justin and Cameron. • American Idol - The show everyone is watching is back again… Honestly, I watched about 30 minutes of the season premiere and had to turn it off. I don’t know what it is, but it doesn’t appeal to me anymore. The biggest story about American Idol right now is Paula Abdul and her ridiculous behavior. It looks pretty obvious that she’s on some kind of drugs (or drunk). (Buy previous American Idol winner CD’s)
• Benny Parsons passes - NASCAR legend and TV commentator passes away.
• Lindsay Lohan Rehab - The rumors are true… Lindsay Lohan has checked into rehab for her alcohol problems. (Buy Lindsay Lohan posters)

Reports have surfaced that Britney Spear’s ex, Kevin Federline, has been hitting on her gal-pal Lindsay Lohan.

Both Lindsay and K-Fed have a great personal history, and Kevin is always out looking for his next pot of gold, but the funny aspect of the story is that Lindsay was reportedly “grossed out” by K-Fed’s attempts to hit on her.

K-Fed supposedly sent Lohan a text message asking if they could hang out - Lohan’s response was less than friendly, so Kevin fired back w/ “firecrotch” - a phrase made popular by one of Paris Hilton’s ex-boyfriends.

I think it’s safe to say that these two won’t be seen together much…

• Busta Rhymes arrested - The eccentric rapper was arrested for misdemeanor assault for allegedly beating some dude over a money dispute. Seriously, the guy looks like a brick house - you think all those steriods make you calm & passive - come on…
• OJ Simpson’s book money frozen - A federal judge has frozen the funds that OJ received from his book deal “If I did it”. The judge seems to be siding with Ron Goldman, as far as OJ trying to fraudulently hide the proceeds from the deal in a dummy corporation. Goldman is seeking some of the reported $1.1 million that OJ was given for the book deal, which was never released. This is a step in the right direction, considering Simpson has yet to pay off much (if any) of the $33 million civil judgement against him.
• Paris Hilton dropped - The owner of “Club Paris” has dropped Hilton as the spokesperson for the club after her failure to show up for promotional appearances & such. Wow, isn’t the name on the club enough?

It seems that Lindsay Lohan can’t keep out of the spotlight, whether it be her own doing or an accident. At the Kid’s Choice Awards on Saturday night, Lohan’s dress crept up a little too much and gave those watching closely a full butt shot.
